Shannon Moretz
Regional Director, The Health Collaborative
Shannon Moretz is only half-joking when she describes herself as a “Shenanigans Coordinator” who is sometimes “aggressively helpful”. She’s spent more than 20 years informing, emboldening, and caring for the people of Caswell County, where she’s lived most of her life. Her professional background includes collaborative leadership, capacity development, community journalism, grants management, and healthcare (quality improvement, risk management, corporate compliance, administration, and as an EMT with Emergency Medical Services.)
Fiercely non-partisan and far more impressed by character than status, Shannon believes we are each much more than the initials behind our names or the titles we are granted. She works to create space for people to connect across difference and develop a deeper understanding of the policies, systems, and environments that shape our daily lives.
